It was a beautiful weekend at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway for the Labor Day Shootout. 46 Winged cars on Saturday and 56 Wingless cars on Sunday.
Peyton showed speed and consistency all weekend and we learned a lot both days.

This weekend's format was different from others since there were over 30 cars registered. Hot laps were timed and you went out in hot laps based off your pill draw at registration. After hot laps, each driver based on where they timed got to pick which heat race they wanted along with their starting position. The A Main lineup was determined by passing points from the heat races. The top 18 on passing points locked right into the A and everyone else went to one of the B Mains and then look to finish in a transfer spot.

🔸️ Heat (Peyton picked Heat 3): 3rd ➡️ 5th
🔸️ B Main 2: 6th ➡️ 5th (just missed the transfer since top 4 transferred to the A)

🔸️ Went out 13th
🔸️ Timed 14th fastest
🔸️ Heat (Peyton picked heat 5): 1st ➡️ 6th
🔸️ B Main 4: 6th ➡️ 4th (only top 2 transferred)
