Just finished 4 Weeks 4 Every Body from Autumn and BeachBody. It was a good transition from the Half Marathon training to something more low impact with strength training! Today I also turned 39 and I’m ready to get back into a better physical training and nutrition mindset for this trip around the sun!

Ran the Detroit international half marathon two weekends ago. It wasn’t a good showing - calf issue that created a full body compensation that impacted my shin, knee, and hips. Ugh. Still feeling the effects. Proud of my efforts and that I crossed the finish line still. Now onto a little less impact with a new Beachbody workout by Autumn - 4 Weeks for Every Body! Started today and it seems like a good transition from race training to low impact weight training! Join me!

Foyer closet makeover! About 3 days and $300 to transform this crash zone of stuff into a beautiful and organized functional space for our busy family of 5! It has been on my DIY list for a while and I’m happy it’s finally done! Well… we just need doors because the left side broke about a year ago. Yey for home projects!

I’ve been doing really well getting up for my workouts (on Phase 2 of 645 in BeachBody), while still doing some peloton rides! The training for the half hasn’t been great though… hard to find motivation to run. Mostly because on the treadmill, I’m just staring at all of the things I want to improve in our fitness area. I think our space needs a makeover!! - whatcha think?! 😉

Peloton time for this girl!! Adding some rides to the 80 Day Obsession program I started again a couple weeks ago! Eager to watch my fitness level come back after a break due to a minor(ish) back injury that has lingered for months.
