The CNY SB Sharks are thrilled to celebrate the return of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup to our home state with a special raffle! They are giving away a genuine Trek Factory Racing jersey signed by none other than Evie Richards — World Champion, Olympic athlete, and one of the sport’s most inspiring figures.

Last year at the Lake Placid World Cup, a few lucky Sharks had an unexpected encounter with Evie. Not only did she graciously let us interrupt her day, she talked with every person, signed everything we handed her — and then invited us to the Trek tent the next day with a surprise: this signed jersey, gifted specifically for us to use as a fundraiser. It wasn’t just generous — it was unforgettable.

Yes, Evie is a world-class athlete — but what makes her a true role model is her kindness, energy, and ability to connect with people of all ages. She makes everyone feel seen. The kids (and adults!) who met her that weekend walked away with memories they will carry forever. This isn’t “just a jersey;" it’s a symbol of what happens when athletes lead with heart — and how those moments can spark a love of the sport for the next generation.

It was a busy weekend for our FORCE ladies. Lisa, Nicky, and Justine put on their coach (and mom, for Justine) hats and attended the Deja Vu race at Walnut Mountain. Meanwhile, Annette conquered Pennsylvania rock at Rattling. It’s been a busy kickoff to mountain biking season!

And just like 💥 that 💥: spring mountain biking races are here! First up is Lisa Holt at Sea Otter Classic . Lisa has an eventful race season coming up with a huge focus on dirt this year. We are so excited to see how stop number one shakes out! Wish her and hubby Zach lots of luck and good vibes 😎.

FORCE has teamed with the SB Sharks Mountain Bike Team this summer to raise funds for GRiT summer programming with the sale of these awesome off-road jerseys from Ocean and San. This summer’s training and inaugural GRiT camp helps girls be the best person they can be on and off their bikes and focuses on getting more girls on bikes. These shirts are offered in both women’s and men’s sizing in several different color options.

It’s been a BUSY few weeks for the FORCE women! First up is at , an annual favorite of Lisa’s. It’s a 65 scenic mile long course in eastern New York with a whopping 6500 feet of climbing. Race director Andy Ruiz is a huge supporter of all things cycling in New York State - from racing to NICA. Check out one of his events in 2025!
