Hey everyone! With a lot of new faces around here lately, I want to reintroduce myself and welcome you to Onsight PT.
If you’re new here, here is the quick rundown of who I am and what I’m all about:

🧗‍♂️ The Athlete Life: I’ve been an athlete my whole life starting from track, to swimming, ultimate frisbee, Krav Maga, then climbing. For me, athleticism isn’t just about gym sessions—it’s about how it translates to the sports I love.
⛷️ The Playground: My happy place is in the mountains.
📸 What You’ll See Here: A mix of the raw highs and lows of training, a behind-the-scenes look at my favorite sports, and deep dives into what it actually means to build a versatile, athletic mindset.

I’m stoked you’re here for the ride. Let’s connect—drop a comment below introducing yourself, telling me where you’re from, or letting me know your favorite way to stay active! 👇

DOUBLE CELEBRATION 🎉 🥳!

Help us wish a warm Onsight PT welcome and a massive Happy Birthday to our newest Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Daniel Lopez! 🎂✨

Daniel is a physical therapist assistant from Washington State with a lifelong passion for movement. After growing up immersed in sports and competing as a collegiate wrestler, he earned his degree in Exercise Science and completed PTA school in 2020. He has since gained experience in diverse outpatient environments, from cardiopulmonary rehab to high‑level sports therapy and travel positions that broadened his clinical perspective.

Outside the clinic, Daniel is drawn to the mountains. Rock, ice, and alpine climbing—as well as mountaineering—shape his understanding of performance, injury prevention, and the mental side of physical recovery.

He brings that same energy to his work, creating rehab experiences that are active, engaging, and tailored to each individual’s goals.

Daniel will be working out of the Tacoma clinic 📍, so please say hi if you see him there or at the crag!

Many clients ask me what they should be feeling while doing ‘x’ (climbers-cough cough) activity.

On a scale of 0-10, 10 being the worst pain you’ve ever felt, 0 being nothing; stay within a 3-4 range. This means you are activating that injured muscle, but not so much so that you are causing further damage.

If you want to talk about specifics, feel free to schedule a discovery call.

The weather is heating up and so should your body before full body activities! Swipe for a checklist of dynamic stretches to do before getting on the wall or boulder outside.

Special appearance by unlevel edge to warm up the fingers with precision.

What are your favorite warmups?
