Who would think that this little fish could grow up to 50 inches in length or weigh over 50 pounds!?

After several weeks of trial and error I've finally caught a couple crappie. 😪 3 fish in total: One 8 inches (released), a bluegill and a good eating keeper after the sun set. Quiet, yes, but i didn't get skunked!

Coe's Landing last Monday evening did not disappoint, although the bugs were quite thick. The keeper was a 11.5 inch female that still had some eggs, even though it's tail and a**l fins are a little beat up. Looks like the spawn could still on in some areas of the lake. And even though i only caught 3 fish it was a gorgeous evening.
