What a beautiful day! We had the privilege of opening our home for the 3rd Annual Chefs’ Taste of Home, and our hearts are so full.

We have always believed our home is meant to be a place of ministry for young people, for teams, for community, and this was the perfect extension of that. CHS does extraordinary work supporting youth and families: from providing food and clothing to empowering people through job search and skill development. We are proud supporters and excited about our upcoming partnership at Champions Ranch!

The afternoon was elevated by the culinary artistry of Chef Sonya Walters of and the gorgeous bespoke cake creations of Anedra Small of . Truly a feast for the eyes and the palate!

To everyone who came out, thank you for making it such a special day. Here is hoping the funds raised make a lasting impact for the families CHS serves.

Thank you to Chris Kennedy of S&S Environmental for safely relocating a juvenile Gopher Tortoise to a beautiful new habitat where it can thrive.

Did you know? Gopher Tortoises create burrows that become home to more than 200 other species.

Last month, Charlie Ward Champions Ranch made its debut appearance in the Springtime Tallahassee Parade with our very own float! We loved seeing so many familiar faces out in the crowd, introducing others to CWCR and getting to connect with the Tallahassee community. So much fun sharing smiles, ChampionsRanch.org wristbands, and beads along the route. Grateful for the memories and the support! Thanks also to our AMAZING VOLUNTEERS who helped us share the vision. Back with a Gopher Tortoise update‼️
We’re heading out to the property with Hope as she takes us to meet Chris. Who will be searching for, and beginning the relocation process. Such an important step in protecting these incredible creatures and their habitat. Fingers crossed we’ll get to see a few in action then follow them to their new forever home in Calhoun County! Protecting and preserving wildlife like this is what stewardship is all about, and we’re grateful to be part of the journey! If they ever decide to make their way back to Champions Ranch, they’ll always be more than welcome here!

What a weekend at the Capital City Classic! From the first snap to the final whistle, this flag football tournament brought the energy, the competition, and the community together in an incredible way. We witnessed teamwork, sportsmanship, and rising stars leaving it all on the field. Proud that the Charlie Ward Champions Ranch served as a premier sponsor of this amazing event; investing in our youth, supporting athletic excellence, and helping create opportunities that go far beyond the game. And the Champions Ranch is thrilled to announce that the facility will be offering an NFL Flag league coming soon! The Capital City Classic is more than a tournament, it’s about building character, leadership, and lasting memories. Already looking forward to next year!
