Today at we hosted a body fat assessment event.
To give residents the ability to establish a baseline.
Body fat percentage is one indicator — not the only one — but an important one.
It gives you data.
Data removes guesswork.
When you know:
• Your body fat %
• Your lean mass
• Your hydration levels
• Your metabolic trends
You stop training blindly.
You start training intentionally.
The number itself doesn’t define you.
It informs you.
It tells us:
Where you are.
Where you can improve.
And how to build a smarter plan.
Progress isn’t about comparison.
It’s about direction.
Baseline → Strategy → Consistency → Results.
If your community is interested in hosting a body composition event, send me a message.
Build with data.
Move with purpose.

Strength training isn’t about getting bulky.
It’s about not feeling weak.
It’s about carrying your own groceries without thinking about it.
It’s about picking up your kids without your back hurting.
It’s about walking into a room and feeling strong in your body.
For women, lifting weights does more than change how you look.
It changes how you feel.
You feel steadier.
You feel more energized.
You feel more confident in your own skin.
Muscle isn’t just about shape.
It’s protection.
It protects your bones as you age.
It protects your joints when you move.
It protects your metabolism when hormones shift.
It protects your independence later in life.
And no — lifting weights won’t suddenly make you bulky.
It will make you toned.
It will make you capable.
It will make you resilient.
Strength training also does something most people don’t talk about:
It lowers stress.
It improves sleep.
It stabilizes your mood.
It builds mental toughness.
Strong women don’t just look powerful.
They feel secure in their bodies.
They move without fear.
They recover faster.
They age with confidence.
Cardio can make you sweat.
Strength makes you solid.
Lift so you can move well at 40.
Lift so you feel strong at 50.
Lift so your future self doesn’t feel fragile.
You deserve to feel powerful in your own body.
Want to work with us - DM “Ready” and we will send you our complimentary guide to basic strength training.
Twisting is one of the first things people lose.
And one of the first things that causes injury.
You rotate when you:
• Get out of your car
• Swing a golf club
• Throw a ball
• Reach into the back seat
• Change direction quickly
But most workouts are straight lines.
Up and down.
Forward and back.
Your spine and hips are built to rotate.
But only when they’re strong and controlled.
Rotation isn’t about spinning fast.
It’s about controlling force through your core and hips.
If you can’t control rotation,
your knees, hips, or lower back will absorb it.
Here are movements that train smart rotation:
• Cable or band rotations
• Landmine rotational presses
• Medicine ball rotational throws
• Half-kneeling chops & lifts
• Cossack squats
• Single-leg RDLs with reach
• Lateral bounds
Train rotation.
Train deceleration.
Train control.
That’s how you move better.
That’s how you stay athletic.
If you want my free rotational training add-on for leg day…

Don’t get me wrong.
The squat is a powerful compound movement.
It should absolutely be part of your program.
When you squat, here’s what you’re really training:
• The front of your thighs
• Your glutes
• Your core
• Your lower back
It’s a great exercise.
But here’s the thing…
Life isn’t just up and down.
You step sideways getting out of a car.
You twist grabbing groceries.
You shift your weight playing with your kids.
You plant and pivot in sports.
If you only train straight up and down,
you only get strong straight up and down.
That’s why people can squat heavy…
but still deal with tight hips, knee pain, or poor balance.
Your body moves in every direction.
Your training should too.
Side lunges.
Split squats.
Cossack squats.
Single-leg work.
Different angles build stronger, more balanced legs.
The squat builds strength.
Movement builds durability.
And durability keeps you active long term.
If you want a simple, balanced leg workout you can start using this week…
DM me “LEG DAY”
and I’ll send you my free complete leg training guide.
No fluff. Just structure you can use immediately.

Your body is smart.
If one area isn’t doing its job,
another area will step in.
Weak hips?
Your lower back works harder.
Tight shoulders?
Your neck takes the stress.
Not sleeping enough?
Your whole system stays on edge.
For a while, this works.
You can still lift.
You can still run.
You can still grind.
But over time, the body keeps track.
Compensation feels like strength.
Until something starts to hurt.
Real performance isn’t about pushing through.
It’s about fixing what’s not pulling its weight.
Train the system.
Not just the sore spot.
The question is —
are you building balance
or just surviving the workload?

I’ve had some of my best training sessions in gyms that weren’t pretty.
They didn’t have the newest machines.
They didn’t have perfect lighting.
They didn’t have cameras set up in every corner.
But they had something far more important.
They had grit.
In those gyms, intensity was the standard. People respected each other—not because of how they looked, but because of how they showed up. You knew who was serious. You knew who was there to work.
There were no distractions. No performances. Just effort.
My name is Luis Allen, and I’m the founder of Gambol Fitness.
Fitness changed my life. I was a skinny kid who struggled with asthma. Strength wasn’t something I was born with—it was something I earned. Through consistent training, I built stamina, confidence, and resilience.
It didn’t happen overnight. But over time, you could feel the change. You could see it. And more importantly, you became someone different.
That transformation stays with you.
Gambol Fitness was built on that same foundation.
Not perfection.
Not performance.
Not appearance.
But effort. Consistency. And respect for the work.
Because the right environment doesn’t just change your body.
It changes who you become.
Community isn’t built by accident. It’s built by intention.
Gambol Fitness × Aventon Meadows
coming together to create experiences that bring people closer.
Sip and Paint was more than an event —
it was a reminder that where you live should feel connected.
This is how community is built.
