What an incredible weekend for the NEC Prep Wrestlers! The Huskies finished 4th overall in the 1A/2A Division with a school record 4 state place winners!

There is truly no quit in these boys.

Cole Anderson, our senior 138lb wrestle, showed real heart in trying to compete. But unfortunately, due to injury, he was unable to complete the tournament.

Brayden, Alan and Jessi all lost hard fought matches in the semi finals, but will be back tomorrow to compete for the podium!

Update from The NCHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. NECP has 4 wrestlers advancing to the semi finals!

Semi Final action to start this afternoon at 4:30pm

NEC Prep wrestling battled hard, but came up just short in the East Regional Dual finals. Your Huskies bring home Regional Runner-Up after falling to South Davidson by a score of 38-42.

It was a great season that came to an end for most of our athletes, however our 5 state qualifiers will compete in Greensboro this Friday and Saturday to bring home Individual State Championships.
