This sweet, fun girl is officially a SENIOR! And I feel so honored that she chose me to capture this season of her life.

Caroline is spending her senior year at a boarding school in upstate New York, so getting to photograph her while she was home in Kentucky with her family before heading off for the school year made this session feel extra special.

And one of my favorite things about her session? She was the first senior I’ve had who specifically wanted photos with her sister AND her mom. I feel like that says so much about where her heart is. ❤️

Caroline, I hope your senior year is full of adventure, new memories, and all the things that make you who you are. I’m so glad I got to freeze a little piece of this chapter for you. ✨

✨ Meet MaKayla — Class of 2027! ✨

If I had to describe MaKayla in just a few words, I think “tiny but mighty” would be pretty perfect. 😂

She’s this fun combination of a total girly girl and someone who is absolutely not afraid to get out there and get after it. She’s played just about every sport there is, and this year she’s taking on flag football — which honestly seems like a pretty fitting choice for her.

And then there’s the fact that she can clean up pretty darn well too. 😉💕 I love when a senior session gets to show all the different sides of someone, and MaKayla definitely gave me plenty of those.

I had so much fun with this girl and loved getting to capture her senior portraits! I have a feeling she’s going to make this last year count.

I have wanted to photograph a wedding at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens for nearly as long as I’ve been photographing weddings. For almost 19 years, this has been one of those dream venues that I hoped I would one day get the chance to photograph a wedding at. So when Mallory and Jake chose this stunning place for their wedding day, it truly felt like a dream come true for me.

And they could not have been a more wonderful couple to experience it with.

Mallory was the complete opposite of a bridezilla. She was calm, relaxed, and just happy to be there. Honestly, she was a total bride-chilla if you will. 😂 Jake was absolutely in awe of his bride, and every guest there seemed to be having the best time celebrating these two.

It was hot. Like, really hot. 🥵 But surrounded by this gorgeous venue and such a wonderful couple, I honestly could not have asked for a better day.

This wedding was an absolute dream, and I am definitely going to be sharing so much more from Mallory and Jake’s beautiful day. 🤍

✨ Meet Nick — Class of 2027! ✨

Nick is taking a little bit of a different path than most seniors. He’s homeschooled and already working full-time, so he’s definitely not waiting until graduation to start figuring out what he wants out of life.

He was such a fun senior to photograph — funny, polite, easygoing, and just an all-around great guy to spend a morning with.

When it came to planning his session, Nick had a couple of very specific requests… his dog and his Jeep. 😂 And honestly, I think that tells you a lot about him. So, of course, we made sure both made their appearance in front of the camera!

Nick, it was so great getting to know you and capture this season of your life. I hope wherever life takes you next, you continue to work hard, have fun, and stay exactly who you are.

The Gunderson family made time for a session before Elle headed back to Texas for her sophomore year of college. And the best part? Mom got the whole thing as a birthday present! 🥰

Some senior sessions feel a little extra special, and this one definitely did. I’ve known Kenzie’s mama for years, so I’ve had the joy of watching Kenzie grow up through photos and Facebook posts along the way. And now somehow, she’s a SENIOR! 🥹

Kenzie is absolutely beautiful, inside and out, and I’m so honored I got to capture this special season for her. Bullitt Central is lucky to have her, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her!

Daylen | Senior 2027 🎓

I had such a great time getting to know Daylen during his senior session! He’s kind, polite, and a little more reserved, but I was lucky enough to capture some genuine smiles along the way. 🤍

Daylen just started his senior year at Butler High School, where he’s part of both the archery and bowling teams — so clearly, focus and precision are his thing! 🏹🎳

When your backyard is 100+ acres of rolling hills, creek beds, and woods, there really isn't anywhere else you need to go for senior photos. 🤍

Spencer's session was so much fun from beginning to end. He was completely up for exploring the property and incorporating the places he knows and loves, and you could tell he was genuinely having a great time in front of the camera.

This week Spencer started his senior year at Henryville High School, where he's kept busy playing soccer and wrestling. I loved getting to capture a little bit of all the things that make this season of life uniquely his.

I love incorporating the things that make each senior unique into their photo sessions.

For Jax, that meant starting the morning on the golf course. It was the perfect way to make his session feel a little more personal and capture something he genuinely enjoys outside of school.

Jax will begin his senior year at Saint Xavier High School, and I have no doubt it'll be a year to remember. Thank you for trusting me to capture this milestone, and I hope your senior year is filled with great memories, success, and plenty of time out on the course. ⛳🎓
