Tailgate Can-Chilling Cheat Sheet Quick tricks to chill soda and beer cans fast so you’re always ready before kickoff:

• Ice–Salt–Water Slush Chills in 2–3 minutes: Fill cooler with ice and water, add 2–3 handfuls of salt, submerge cans. • Wet Paper Towel + Freezer: Wrap cans in wet paper towels and place in freezer. Ready in about 15 minutes. • Spin-Chill Method : Use a drill or Spin Chill gadget to spin cans in ice water. Cold in 60–90 seconds. • Layered Cooler Strategy: Pack cans at bottom, pour ice over, then add water. Keep topping off with ice for rounds that stay cold. • Emergency Sock Wrap: Wrap can be filled with ice in a sock and let sit a few minutes if you’re short on gear. Pro Tip: Pre-chill drinks the night before if possible—then use these hacks to keep the party cold all day!
