The Bicycle Cellar Downtown Tempe's Urban Bike Shop! Full service repair. A unique selection of new bikes from Surly, Ko The Bicycle Cellar is Tempe's downtown bike shop.

We work on all bicycles but we focus on selling fun, utility, commuter/transportation, urban, touring, and adventure bicycles. We primarily stock Surly, Kona, Marin and Retrospec with other awesomeness squeezed in between. We can custom order/build other brands, too, including Soma, All-City, Pake and more. We are also a membership based commuter support facility. Housing 112 bike parking racks, lockers and four showers, members have 20 hour per day access to bike commuter nirvana.

SLOW DOWN! It looks like work is coming to an end on the College Avenue pedestrian bridge sewer line bypass. The bypass pipeline has been removed as of this evening, but in the process the sand bags used to weigh down the stands for the barricades have torn and sand has spilled on the approach ramps and bridge itself. This represents a crash hazard, especially in the turns. Exercise caution and slow down until it has been cleaned.

The guy didn't even cut through the wire tire beads so it did nothing to make it easier to remove and they had to muscle it off anyway. 🤣 Amateurs.

A sturdy plastic bag and a good cinch strap (Austere MFG | CNCed Cam Utility straps) really does make a great way to occasionally carry soft items on a bike rack. Stuffed the tail light into the bottom of the bag as the bag blocked the seatpost mount.
