After a break for the holiday season we're back. This months film is going to be "Rising From the Ashes" the story of Rwanda's National Cycling Team. An amazingly inspirational film and a second chance to check it out for anyone who missed it's screening down town to kick off black history month. Worth the watch. Sleeping bag
Camp pad
Small tent, bivy sack, or camp hammock
Food (or a nearby dining establishment)
Personal items: toiletries, etc

Fatherhood took me out of the loop this last year. But I am slowly making a resurgence. I plan to finish this year with a series of Sub-24 ( less than 24 hours) bikepacking adventures. These are geared toward offering an outlet for those of us with busy schedules, but an undeniable need to stretch our legs and sleep under stars. The first in the series is going to be in support of Bike Your Park Day on September 30th. There will be one each month through the rest of the year. Each will highlight a different part of the Phoenix Valley and help remind us that adventure is as close as we want it to be. These are open and free to the public, so jump in any that sound like fun and tell your friends.

The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) is Adventure Cycling's premier off-pavement cycling route, crisscrossing the Continental Divide north to south.
