ASU Outdoors Club

Dear ASU Outdoors Club - We're a non-profit based in Ontario, Canada that runs wilderness canoe trips for underserved youth, and we're recruiting staff for this coming summer - no experience required. It's a great opportunity to get some wilderness and leadership experience and work with youth. Most of our trips take place in Algonquin Provincial Park, which is one of the best places in North America to do wilderness canoe tripping. If you might be interested, check us out at:
Mechanical systems engineering Outstanding Graduate Daniel Bruce has excelled in many things during his time in the Fulton Schools. He is graduating as a Grand Challenges Scholar and has two research journal papers currently under review. Daniel has applied his knowledge to additive manufacturing research, helped communities through EPICS, traveled to Peru with GlobalResolve, adventured with the ASU Outdoors Club and participated in the ASU NASA Space Grant program. These experiences, as well as internships with the NASA Langley Research Center and Northrop Grumman Corporation, have prepared him for a bright future.
Hey! Just checking to see if this club is still up and running. I haven't seen any recent events or anything planned for the future months. My daughter goes to ASU so I thought I would send her the information about this club. Looks like a lot of fun people from the photos.
Hey all! I've got a paddleboard renting company if you want to have fun on the water this weekend. It's cheaper than buying one and they are inflatable so easy pickup and you can take them where ever you want in the valley. message me if you are interested in renting. $35/day
After many years of use, I lost my AOC Nalgene bottle and that makes me sad :(

I was hoping that I can buy another one if there are more. Can anyone help me with this? :)
Hey guys! My family is about to come to visit me from out of state for about a week, and I very much want to show them a good time in Arizona.

Do you have any recommendations for places to go for day trips (parents are open to booking hotels in other parts of Arizona as well if it is worth it)? I know some are open and some may be closed, so that makes things a bit trickier.

One idea we had was going to Coyote Butte: [](

Thank you all and I appreciate all suggestions!
If anybody is interested in the Havasu Falls Spring Break Trip (March 5th through 9th), message me, I'm trying to transfer my ticket as I can no longer attend.

Hey friends! I was wanting to buy a camping quilt/ blanket for lighter weight backpacking in the summer. Bonus is if it’s a little bigger for 2 people and 2 dogs to cuddle in!
The Rumpl and Nemo ones look good, but I’d love to hear your opinions.
Happy holidays!!
Hello guys! I would love to go camping this weekend to some nice place, not too far away, close to water (a lake, waterfalls..) Does anyone have any suggestions and does anyone wanna join ? Thanks 🌸

The ASU Outdoors Club (AOC) is a group of ASU student outdoor enthusiasts who go on countless amounts of adventures. Hiking, camping, rock climbing, canyoneering, rappelling, sky diving, kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, snowboarding... if it ends in -ing and deals with the outdoors we've probably done it! Come out to one of our meetings (every Tuesday at 7:30 in PSH152) to get more information and to meet our crew!

The USG election is now open, and Max Fees and his executive ticket are running for office! We have had an overwhelming number of students already join the movement, but we need YOU to be successful and to win this election.

Today is the LAST day to vote so remember to VOTE FEES and spread the word with as many people as you can! Show some love on the Instagram by reposting and sharing that you voted Max Fees and let’s show all of ASU what we are capable of when we expect more!

Hello everyone, the AOC is having our annual end of the semester climbing event at the Phoenix Rock Gym on December 1st. Come out and take a moment to destress from studying.

Tonight’s AOC meeting is canceled. We hope you all have a good Thanksgiving break!

Our drum circle social is being relocated to PV (paloverde) beach. There will be pizza, great company, and good times so head over now.

Today’s AOC drum circle social is at 7 PM (not 6 PM) on Gammage Lawn.

Instead of having a regular meeting, we’ll be hosting a social tonight. Join us for our first drum circle at 7 PM on Gammage Lawn! We will be providing drums but they will be limited, so if you have one, please bring it! We will also have some slack lines set-up along with some hammocks. So come jam out and enjoy some free food! We look forward to seeing you all and make sure to bring your friends! You can drop off or pick up gear at the drum circle.

There will NOT be a meeting tonight. We will resume meetings at our regularly scheduled time and location next week.

Each day for the 7 days of halloweek, Oct. 28 - Nov. 3, we will be raffling away your choice of a $20 REI gift card or a two week pass to PRG. All you have to do is post a picture of your favorite outdoor adventure, tag the AOC page, and on Instagram. At the end, we will chose the best photo from the week and announce the winner of the $100 REI giftcard! So let's get spooky and have a spooktacular week of adventure!

In lieu of our usual meeting tonight, we’ll be having a social at Daley Park from 7-10 PM. There will be slack lines, a costume contest, games, food, and great company!

There will not be a meeting this week! Enjoy the rest of your day.

If you need to return gear, you will need to bring it to the gear locker between 4-5 PM on Saturday.

Exciting news! We will be having a meeting tonight at 7:30 PM in PSH 152. Don’t have plans for fall break? Need to pick up gear for an outgoing trip? All of that can easily be fixed if you go to tonight’s AOC meeting.

Hello everyone! We will not be having a meeting tonight. Enjoy the rest of your week. You can pick up gear if you submitted a form in PSH152 at 7:30 PM. Enjoy the rest of your week.

If you need to rent gear for the kick off trip. You can rent gear from the gear locker at 810 S McClintock (CubeSmart) from 6 to 7 PM tonight.

Thank you to everyone that came out last night. We will have our shirts in at the next meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 PM in PSH152. And for those of you that attended last night's meeting we were unaware of the "cult-like" activities HOPE church has been apart of in the past years using Surivor and such fronts to endorse their church. I would like to make it clear that we are NOT affiliated with them and I apologize for those unaware of this situation. I hope this didn't discourage you from joining the club.

Today is the day!!! There will be not only one, but two ASU Outdoors Club meetings in PSH 152 tonight! The first is at 7:30 PM in PSH 152 and the second will be held at 8:15 PM in the same location. If you need directions check our instastory.
