Work hard. Play hard. Pray hard.

Centex Reds 12U are kicking off Sunday bracket play!

Lord, thank You for another beautiful day and the opportunity to play a game that we love. We ask that You watch over our players, our opponents, coaches, umpires, and everyone cheering from the stands. Keep everyone safe, help us play with integrity and good sportsmanship, and remind us to be grateful for every inning, every opportunity, and every moment together.

Win or lose, may we always remember that the ability to step onto that field is a blessing in itself.

Let’s go, Reds! ❤️⚾

CENTEX REDS 12U

WHAT A WEEKEND AND WHAT A GROUP OF BOYS! ⚾️💪🏼

To say these boys earned their hardware this weekend would be an understatement!

What started as a four-team double-elimination tournament turned into a three-team tournament, leaving our boys in a situation where they had to play FOUR games back-to-back-to-back-to-back today. No breaks. No time to rest. Just one game after another.

And if that wasn’t challenging enough, we played the majority of this tournament with just NINE players, with a couple of our teammates out for fall break.

But these boys? They showed up, dug deep, and battled through every single inning. They were tired, they were hot, and they were running on fumes by the end of it, but they never stopped fighting. Every single game, they gave it everything they had.

They’re walking away with some new hardware, some great memories, and a coaching staff that couldn’t be prouder of the effort, determination, and heart they showed this weekend.

Baseball doesn’t always go according to plan. Sometimes the schedule changes, sometimes you’re short players, and sometimes you’re asked to dig a whole lot deeper than you expected.

But this group knows how to adjust, adapt, and overcome.

Proud of these boys for showing up for each other, battling through the tough moments, and proving that you don’t need perfect circumstances to play some darn good baseball.

Way to work, boys! You earned this one! 🔴⚫️⚾️
