I want to thank each and every participant and spectator that made it out for the half-dozen or so races we were able to make happen over the summer. Sadly, we missed the last race of the season due to a pretty poor weather forecast. Oh well, we will get things restarted next June, and hopefully find a way to get more folks in the fleet.

Another great Thursday night save for the lack of wind. Congrats to Kurt Schleicher who crossed the line first with a great light wind performance! Thank you to Kate, Justin, John, and Juan for coming out! Let's hope for some breeze for next week.

Thank you Justin Ward for covering race committee duties! Of course, our best turnout with 6 boats happened while I had to travel back to Texas for some personal business and some great gulf coast fishing. Thank you Brendan Chase, Chuck Paine, John Dick, Kate Chandler, Kay Statz, and Chris Schreiber for coming out! And Justin took so great photos!

Given the forecast for tomorrow, Thursday the 30th of July, we are going to cancel what would have been round 3 of the series. Hope you come out Thursday August 6th for the next round. Justin Ward at the Tenants Harbor Boat Yard will be managing the race to until I am back for the August 13th round.

Hey Folks,

I have to return to Texas for two weeks. I am working with some folks to cover the Race Committee duties. When I have that sorted, I will post a event notice with the standard details I post on course and start details. The person covering RC duties will likely be racing so things will likely be a bit more DIY at the start. The course layout this past Thursday was an improvement with the weather mark not in the wind shadow near Mouse Island so we will keep that layout going forward unless the wind does something unusual.
