Today will be the official last day as Mayor of Texas City for Matt Doyle. Mayor Matt Doyle will preside over the official canvassing of the November 3rd election today at 5:00 PM and hand the gavel over to Mayor Dedrick Johnson, Sr.
Mayor Doyle has served the citizens of Texas City for a combined total of 20 years, 4 years as Commissioner at Large and as Mayor since May 2004. The citizens of Texas City thank you and wish you the very best in the coming years. May God continue to bless you and your family and the citizens of Texas City. Thank You Mayor Doyle!
