Finally starting to get some turkeys staying full time on the ranch, I love watching and calling them in. Nothing better that watching the strut during mating season.

Have to love a monster Black Buck. Brandi Elis Higginbotham Scott put the hammer on this guy this weekend at UKnow Venados Grandes. Got to spend the New Years at my favorite spot with great friends and good times.

How many people get to say they hunted with a two time Emmy winner? This is Jessica’s third trip to the ranch and her third jacket buck to take back to Iowa. This hunt was tough one even with the cooler weather and the rut, her Target buck was a no show after 4 days but we switched gears and got her another great King of the Cactus.
