December 2026 marks seven years since Jacob Morris died. He was young and had competed in the teenage division at the CrossFit Games four months prior. This year we, once again, found four athletes who exemplified what Jacob Morris was known for - our teenage Spirit of the Games winners. These winners were nominated and voted on by their peers. Congratulations, winners. You bless the Morrises and the sport of CrossFit. Let’s hear it for these kiddos.

🏆 14-15 boys Alix Honore
🏆 14-15 girls Phoebe Hiscock
🏆 16-17 girls Julia Konovalova
🏆 16-17 boys Emil Thers Gottache

Right before the podium at thee 2026 Teensge CrossFit Games , the younger kids and their teenage mentors and heroes took the main floor for the first-ever Pit Throwdowns KIDS event. Programmed by the teenagers’ director, Brock Yost, the event had them cleaning, squatting with and running with a med ball before they got to gather as many burpee-box-get-overs in the remaining minute’s time. Teenage Games athletes joined the little on teams of three after walking them through a warmup and movement standards review. Thank you to JOCKO FUEL for the partnership and for sharing the Way of the Warrior Kid products with the kiddos. Thank you to the teens who got the message: You are leaders and role models. Always be giving to those coming up behind you. Proud of you!

For the first time in CrossFit Games history, a judge held the standard from a seated position. And she did so, fittingly, at the 2026 Adaptive & Teenage CrossFit Games.

Kristen Domke, retired U.S. Air Force, Warrior Games medalist, adaptive athlete, personal trainer and mental performance coach, judged teenagers and adaptive athletes - from her wheelchair.

Kristen made history.

We thank her for her service both in the U.S. military and at the Games this past weekend and are proud to be part of breaking new ground - ever proving what we CAN do. 💪🏽
