So There Was This One Time, At Birdcamp. Gober Family/Bird Camp. Been in the family for.... 75 yrs now?!.... Great fun, family place out in the NW TX elements! Well,...why not? :)

So Birdcamp falls on Homecoming weekend this year. I know our guests will be in town by Friday evening, we're taking our popup to camp Friday sometime...
We'll also have our dune buggy out at camp this year, it's a two seater but it's fun!
With most of everyone busy in town on Saturday, it'll be low key this year but I'm still looking forward to it! Not only for seeing my cousins but also for my friends, and they all adore our birdcamp as much as I do💓
After the parade is over Saturday morning, I figure we'll be mosey'ing on over to camp around noon or little after. We'll make some hamburgers or something for supper Saturday 🫶

BIRDCAMP WEEKEND:::

So Throckmorton Homecoming weekend is the 2nd weekend in Oct. That is also the weekend of the big football game that patsy keeps up with.
Do we want to do BC the Homecoming weekend or wait until the next one?
