We still have some seats available for our OIL BOOM HISTORIC DINNER, being held on Thursday, September 24th, beginning at 5 p.m.!

This event is a fundraiser for our David L. Weber Research Internship at Drake Well Museum and Park, named in memory of our longtime researcher, volunteer, and friend. Tickets are $75 each with proceeds benefiting the Weber Internship Program.

The evening will feature a delicious meal derived from the authentic recipes of Titusville's residents during its "oil boom days!" Various historical figures from the time period will be present during social hour for a meet & greet. During dinner there will be renditions of some of our favorite oil boom songs, performed by vocalists from the Rocsato Conservatory of Music at Hillhurst. The evening will conclude with dessert and a brief presentation by the inaugural David Weber Intern, Alexander Huffman, on his research into the oil boomtowns of Clarion County!

To purchase tickets, go to www.drakewell.org/events or call Friends of Drake Well at 814-461-0008.
