9/2/2021 Sawyer Quarry Nature Preserve
We visited Sawyer Quarry, also in Wood County. It was amazing to see the rock formations and later the photos of the family who owned it many years ago swimming in the deep water. There is even a repelling wall.

It's been awhile since we have posted here but we have been out and about exploring our Metro Parks and beyond when we can! Wood County has some very nice spots to explore tucked away among the farmer's fields and in the more urban areas. W. W. Knight Nature Preserve is off of East River Road between Rossford and Perrysburg. Lovely space!
