As classic rock fades away, many bands are continuing on without any original band members and it raises this question:

Should these bands start advertising these shows as a "tribute band", rather than saying they are the actual band?

No one is doing anything wrong by playing the way they are now because someone owns the name and okays the tours.

But, do you think it would be better for fans to know these shows are tribute bands rocking under the old band's logo?

As an example, the band in the photo below plays as FOREIGNER but would now play shows as...
