State Line Stars - Team Majewski

A great start to a busy week for the boys! Two great wins behind spectacular pitching and clutch hitting. These wins bring us to 10-0 heading into our first tournament weekend!

We travel to Findlay Ohio Saturday and Sunday for the 5th annual salute to service tournament! Stay tuned for the schedule and game updates!

Let’s talk defense!!!

The 8s have started league play 2-0 and have yet to surrender a run!

Incredible performances on the mound Wednesday by Brady P., Brady K. and Hayes were backed up with equally impressive performances by Walker, Jonny, and Miles last night against a VERY good Perrysburg team.

While those guys pitched well, we had dazzling plays in the field including a clutch double play in the bottom of the fifth that all but sealed last nights win!

The bats have been warm but I can’t wait until they catch 🔥🔥🔥

This group is skilled, focused and fun to watch! Excited to get back out there for our double header this weekend against the Cyclones and Oregon.

These boys are chomping at the bit!

We are excited to kick off league play tonight!

The 8u boys went pretty far up in to Michigan for 2 against Hit Dogs east! Brought home a couple of nice wins.

They pitched great, hit the ball around the yard and played solid defense. We’re off to a nice start!

The forecast looks incredible so we’re headed outside for an action-packed day with three fantastic games!

State Line 8u and the NWO Diamond Dogs are up first at 11:30,

followed by Oregon battling it out with the Diamond Dogs at 1:30.

Our boys will wrap up the day with a showdown against Oregon at 3:30.

WHAT. A. DAY!!! The 8s went 2-0 today including walk off win in an epic comeback in game 2!

Game 1 was a 10-5 win in a total team effort!

Offensive Star: Max Vance who went 2-2 and scored twice.

Defensive Star: Jonny Forshey - made a couple fantastic plays in the field and pitched a great game

Team Star: Hayes Watts - started the offense up early with a missile and made an incredible play at shortstop.

In Game 2 the boys never gave up. Down 5-0 in the bottom of the 4th. They scored 4 in the bottom of the 4th and walked it off on a single from Brady Kastor in the 6th!

Offensive star: Brady Pauley - Brady finally got the offense going with a shot off the top of the wall in the 4th!

Defensive star: Easton Wagenhauser - Easton made an incredible catch in centerfield

Team Star: Brady Kastor - Brady closed the game out with a walk off single.

We are Proud of these Stars!!

It’s going to be cold outside but the action will be hot inside State Line HQ.

The 8u Stars are taking on the 8u Eagles in a double header this afternoon.

Doors open at 1:30.

The concession stand will be pumping out hotdogs, chips and beverages!

This weekend Coach Brett, Coach Nick, and Coach Tim ventured down to Columbus for the ABCA convention.

We spent the weekend soaking up as much information as we could to bring back to share with the boys! We also got to watch 1 of the coaches talk baserunning up on the hot stove stage! I’ll let you figure out who that was….

We had a ton of fun, learned more and came home ready to help these boys be better baseball players!

Game 1 at State Line HQ was a great success! The 8u boys brought home a 6-2 win in their first action of the year.

Shout out to Izen Kuhn who hit the first bomb in HQ history!!! Check the video in the comments!

Offensive star: Miles Majewski who went 2-3 with a huge go ahead 2 RBI single in the 4th.

Defensive star: Izen Kuhn who made spectacular plays in the field and a game ending double play in the 6th.

Effort star: Johnny Forshey- Johnny got things going on the mound with an efficient first inning and legged out a triple with some excellent baserunning!

The sky is the limit for these guys, it’s going to be fun to watch them grow from here!
