The Girls Basketball program is happy to announce the hiring of Mikayla “Kk” Roman as our new JV Head Coach!

“Hi! I am super excited to be joining the TCC Girls Basketball Family! I was born and raised in Traverse City and was a 2019 TCW graduate. I continued my basketball career at Hope College as both a player and student assistant coach, and had an awesome experience learning from some of the best! I graduated from Hope with a double major in Psychology and Exercise Science and continued my education to get a Master's in Sport Psychology from Adler University. I'm stoked to be back in TC and am so ready to be back in the gym, working with and coaching athletes to be high-striving, motivated, and joyful players and people!”

TEAM BONDING… WITH A LITTLE PAIN!

The girls got in some team bonding tonight by taking on a timed 1-mile loop at the Civic Center!

Nothing says “team chemistry” quite like running together, pushing each other, talking a little trash, and finding out who has another gear when the clock is running!

They ran as a team, encouraged each other, and maybe discovered that conditioning is a lot more fun when you’re doing it together!

Congratulations Eden Kitzmiller with a cool 7:28 mile!

One team. One mile. One goal.
And yes… they survived.

We are absolutely devastated by the loss of Wilder, a great friend and a special part of our Trojan Soccer family.

Wilder shared the field, the locker room, and so many memories with our players — not only as Trojans, but as teammates on many teams over the years. More importantly, he was a great friend, and his loss is being felt deeply throughout our community.

Our hearts are with Wilder’s family, friends, and everyone who loved him during this unimaginable time.

The Trojan Soccer family will carry Wilder’s memory with us always. 🖤💛
