🥎💚🩷 GOOD PLAYERS PLAY THE GAME. GREAT PLAYERS HAVE GREAT CHARACTER! 🩷💚🥎

To my Voltage girls and athletes everywhere… Never forget that the kind of person you are will always matter more than the kind of player you are!

Your talent may get you noticed, but your CHARACTER is what earns respect. 💯

You can be the best hitter, the fastest runner, or the strongest pitcher on the field, but none of that means much if you can’t be a good teammate, accept correction, show respect, or lift others up.

Be the player who:
⚡ Works hard even when nobody is watching.
⚡ Takes responsibility instead of making excuses.
⚡ Accepts coaching with a positive attitude.
⚡ Celebrates teammates just as loudly as yourself.
⚡ Shows respect in both victory and defeat.
⚡ Chooses kindness, even when things aren’t going your way.

Coaches will remember your attitude. Teammates will remember how you treated them. And people will remember your character long after they’ve forgotten the scoreboard.

You don’t have to be the best player on the field to be the kind of teammate everyone wants beside them!

To my Voltage girls and every athlete out there — remember, you don’t have to be the best player on the field, but you should always be working to become a better player than you were yesterday!

Every at-bat, every practice, and every game is an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve. You’re going to strike out. You’re going to make errors. You’re going to have tough days. But what matters most is how you respond!

Don’t waste an opportunity because you’re afraid to fail. Take the swing, make the play, accept the correction, and put in the work! 💪

Great players aren’t made overnight. They’re built through consistency, effort, determination, and the willingness to keep learning.

Show up with a good attitude, be coachable, work hard, and never stop pushing yourself to be better!

🥎⚡ DISCIPLINE IS WHAT SEPARATES WISHING FROM ACHIEVING! 💚🩷

Every athlete wants to win. Every athlete wants to be successful. But not every athlete is willing to put in the work it takes to get there.

Discipline is showing up when you’re tired. It’s giving 100% when nobody is watching. It’s listening when you’re being coached, staying positive when things aren’t going your way, and putting your TEAM before yourself.

You won’t always feel motivated. You won’t always have your best game. You won’t always get the position, playing time, or results you want. But you ALWAYS have control over your effort, attitude, work ethic, and commitment.

Remember, champions aren’t built on game day. They’re built through the choices they make EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Be the player who works hard, stays humble, accepts coaching, encourages teammates, and never stops trying to improve.

🥎💗💚 Being a GREAT teammate is about so much more than what you do on the field!

You don’t have to be the best player, hit the most home runs, or make every play to be one of the most valuable members of your team.

It’s about cheering for your teammates even when you’re having a tough day yourself. It’s about celebrating someone else’s success as if it were your own. It’s about lifting others up when they make mistakes instead of tearing them down. It’s about showing up with a positive attitude, putting in the work, and being someone your teammates can count on.

Your attitude is contagious. Your words matter. Your actions matter. And the way you treat your teammates matters!

Remember, being a good teammate doesn’t stop when you step off the field. It’s who you are in the dugout, at practice, at school, and when nobody is watching.

At the end of the day, trophies collect dust and statistics are forgotten, but the way you made your teammates feel can stay with them forever.

In sports, your performance will change. Some days you’ll be on top of your game, and other days you’ll struggle. You’ll make mistakes, strike out, lose games, and face challenges that test your confidence.

But here’s something I hope you NEVER forget… Your worth is NOT determined by your performance! 💗

God doesn’t love you more when you hit a home run, pitch a perfect game, or bring home a championship. And He doesn’t love you any less when you strike out, make an error, or have a bad day.

His love isn’t based on your stats, your success, or your failures. His love is UNCONDITIONAL! ✝️

Work hard. Stay humble. Be a great teammate. Give your best effort every time you step on that field. But always remember that softball is something you DO, not who you ARE.

You are loved, valued, and wonderfully made, regardless of what that scoreboard says!

💚🩷 Play for the love of the game, but live for the One who loved you first!

🥎💚🩷 To my girls and every young athlete out there…

Growth doesn’t happen overnight, and success doesn’t come without hard work!

You can’t plant a seed today and expect to enjoy the fruit tomorrow. You have to water it, nurture it, and give it time to grow. Softball is no different!

Every practice, every extra rep, every mistake, every strikeout, and every tough loss is part of the process. You may not see the results of your hard work today, tomorrow, or even next week, but that doesn’t mean you’re not growing!

Don’t get so caught up in wanting immediate results that you forget to appreciate the progress you’re making along the way.

Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. Keep having a good attitude. Keep being coachable. And most importantly, don’t quit just because the results aren’t coming as quickly as you’d like.

🌱 The work you put in TODAY is preparing you for the player you’ll become TOMORROW!

🥎💚🩷 ATTITUDE IS A CHOICE! ⚡

Talent can make you a good player, but your ATTITUDE, EFFORT, and CHARACTER are what make you a great teammate!

Every time you step onto that field, you have a choice. You can choose to encourage or criticize. You can choose to lift your teammates up or tear them down. You can choose to respond to mistakes with frustration or use them as opportunities to grow.

Being a great teammate isn’t just about what you do when things are going your way. It’s about who you choose to be when they’re NOT.

🥎 When your teammate strikes out, encourage her.

🥎 When someone makes an error, pick her up.

🥎 When you’re sitting on the bench, cheer just as loudly as you would if you were on the field.

🥎 When you’re struggling, keep working instead of making excuses.

🥎 When you lose, show the same respect and sportsmanship you would if you had won.

🥎 When you succeed, stay humble and remember the people who helped you get there.

Coaches can teach you mechanics, skills, and strategy, but YOU are responsible for the attitude you bring to your team every single day.

You won’t always have your best game. You won’t always get the position you want. You won’t always agree with every decision. And you certainly won’t win every game.

But you CAN choose to be positive, encouraging, coachable, respectful, and a teammate others can count on.

Be the kind of player your teammates are thankful to have beside them, not just because of how well you play, but because of how you make them feel. 💚🩷

The goal isn’t to be better than the girl standing beside you. The goal is to be better than the player you were yesterday!

You don’t have to be the most talented player on the field. You don’t have to be the strongest, the fastest, or the one who gets all the recognition. But you DO have to be willing to put in the work!

Talent might get you noticed, but HEART, HUSTLE, DISCIPLINE, and DETERMINATION are what set you apart!

There will be days when you strike out, make errors, sit the bench, or feel like you’re not improving. There will be days when someone else gets the position, the playing time, or the recognition you wanted. What matters is how you respond!

Are you going to make excuses, or are you going to get better? Are you going to let disappointment defeat you, or are you going to let it DRIVE you?

Remember, nobody can give you ambition. Nobody can force you to WANT to be better. Your coaches can teach you, your parents can support you, and your teammates can encourage you, but the DESIRE to improve has to come from YOU!

So put in the extra reps. Take the corrections. Ask questions. Be coachable. Cheer for your teammates. Show up with a good attitude, even when things aren’t going your way.

And most importantly, NEVER become so focused on being better than someone else that you forget to recognize how far YOU have come!

🥎💗⚡ TO ALL THE GIRLS CHASING BIG DREAMS ON THE SOFTBALL FIELD…

Talent might get you noticed, but work ethic, determination, and ambition are what will set you apart.

Every player wants to be successful. Every player wants to be in the starting lineup, make the big play, hit the home run, or be the one their team can count on when the game is on the line.

But here’s the question… Are you willing to WORK for it?

Are you willing to put in the extra reps when nobody is watching? Are you willing to take constructive criticism, learn from your mistakes, and keep showing up when things aren’t going your way?

Are you willing to work just as hard on the days you don’t feel motivated as you do on the days everything comes easy?

You cannot expect extraordinary results from ordinary effort.

Don’t get so caught up comparing yourself to the girl beside you that you forget to focus on becoming the best version of YOU.

Be coachable. Be disciplined. Be hungry to learn. Celebrate your teammates’ successes while continuing to chase your own goals.

And remember, wanting it and working for it are two completely different things.

Coaches can teach fundamentals, mechanics, and strategy. But that fire inside you? That desire to get better? That willingness to do the hard things? YOU have to bring that.

Whether you’re the strongest player on your team or still fighting to earn your spot, there is ALWAYS room to grow.

🥎 Good things come to those who wait… but GREAT things come to those who WORK for them!

🥎⚡ AMBITION CAN’T BE COACHED. THE DESIRE TO BE BETTER HAS TO COME FROM WITHIN. ⚡🥎

Coaches can teach you the fundamentals. They can correct your mistakes, push you to your limits, and give you every opportunity to succeed.

But there is one thing they cannot give you… the WANT TO.

The desire to put in extra work when nobody is watching. The determination to keep going when things get hard. The willingness to accept correction instead of making excuses. The hunger to improve, even when you’re already good.

You don’t have to be the most talented player on the field. You don’t have to be the strongest, the fastest, or the most experienced.

But you CAN be the one who works the hardest. The one who shows up ready to learn. The one who refuses to settle for yesterday’s version of yourself.

And this isn’t about what team you play for, what position you hold, or how many trophies you’ve won.

It’s about HEART. It’s about EFFORT. It’s about CHARACTER.

Don’t work just to be better than the girl standing next to you. Work to become better than the player you were yesterday.

Because talent might get you noticed, but your work ethic, attitude, and determination are what will carry you forward.
