🎮🦅 SMASH BROS. PRESEASON MATCH DAY RESULTS!

We got our first preseason matches in today!

🥇 GOLD TEAM — VICTORY!
Our Gold Team battled Forest High School: out of Mississippi and came away with the 3–2 WIN! 🔥The Bearcats brought out the best in our Eagles, and we wish them the best on their season!

⚫ BLACK TEAM
Our Black Team faced a tough Leeds High School Esports squad, falling 1–3. Plenty to learn from, plenty to build on, and we’ll be back at it! 💪 Good luck on your season, Greenwave! We hope to see you in the playoffs!

Every match gives our players another opportunity to improve, adapt, and compete together. We’re proud of both squads for representing East Lawrence!

🦅🎉 HOMECOMING PARADE INFORMATION! 🎉🦅

It’s Homecoming Week at East Lawrence, and we’re excited to celebrate with our annual ELHS Homecoming Parade this Friday! 🖤💛

Come out and help us celebrate our Eagles, Homecoming Court, clubs, organizations, athletics, and more!

⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS & STUDENTS

East Lawrence High School will dismiss at 12:00 PM on Friday.

Students participating in the Homecoming Parade who plan to check out following the parade must have a signed parental consent form turned in by THURSDAY AT NOON.

The permission slip includes an option for parents/guardians to indicate whether their student may check out after the parade or should NOT check out after the parade. Students should have already received the form. However, we are posting one here for you to download, print, and sign yourself in case your student did not get one.

📄 Permission Slip Deadline: Thursday at 12:00 PM

Please make sure forms are completed and returned on time so we can make Friday's activities run as smoothly as possible.

We've got some BIG news from East Lawrence ESports!

Congratulations to Payton Foster-McLean on receiving an ESports scholarship offer from Huntingdon Esports to continue competing in Mario Kart 8! 🏎️🎓

This one means a lot.

When we talk about building East Lawrence ESports, we've always wanted it to be about more than simply playing video games. We want our players to compete, improve, represent East Lawrence, build relationships, and create opportunities for what comes next.

This is one of those opportunities.

Every race. Every time trial. Every practice. Every tournament. Every trip. Every time Payton lined up against some of the best competition we could find — it mattered.

Now a college has taken notice. 👀

We're extremely proud of Payton and excited to see what comes next for him. And for every younger Eagle in our program, let this be another reminder:
