How to lose weight without counting calories
It’s question I’m often asked because, well let’s be honest, counting calories and logging food can be a major drag. That’s not to say it isn’t a valuable skill. It most certainly is and I’d encourage everyone to spend a few months doing it. You’ll benefit tremendously.

These photos are always the best! Hats off to Billy Blake for all the accomplishments over the last year in The Wine and Weight Loss Program.

Far too many people are more concerned with losing 20 pounds in 6 weeks rather than losing 20 pounds and keeping it off for a year. Fortunately for him, Bryon isn't one of them!

All food exists on a spectrum. Some you should eat more regularly, and others more sparingly. It doesn’t mean you should ban any particular food. Who wants to live that way?
The more toppings you add to a potato, the less often you should indulge in that variety. Keep it simple most of the time and rely on fresh herbs to really bring the potato to life.

There’s a time and place for low glycemic foods and high glycemic foods.
Want to feel more satisfied for a longer period of time? Go with a food that has a low glycemic load.
Need an energy boost, especially pre- or post-workout? Go for a food with a higher glycemic load.
Don’t drive yourself crazy by demonizing food. Enjoy responsibly. :-)

Read any nutrition science study with a discerning eye and know that there are always shades of gray.
You can look at findings and see what possible applications they may have, but keep an open mind as nutrition science is rapidly growing.
