At the Tucson Scorpions Youth Basketball Club, our motto is simple: "Every kid deserves a shot." We believe every child deserves an opportunity to learn, grow, succeed, and feel valued. That same spirit extends beyond the basketball court—every person deserves dignity, respect, compassion, and the chance to thrive.

🏀☀️ **SUMMER BASH HELP NEEDED!** ☀️🏀

The Tucson Scorpions Youth Basketball Club is putting together a special ☀️Summer Bash☀️on July 25th for our youth and families, and we need our community's help to make it a success!

Our program currently serves 50+ youth, many of whom come from the South Tucson community. We proudly welcome youth of all skill levels, backgrounds, abilities, and income levels. Our Scorpion family is built on inclusion, opportunity, and community.

As a community-driven, not-for-profit youth program, we work hard to provide a safe and positive environment where young people can develop:
✅ Leadership skills
✅ Basketball fundamentals
✅ Confidence and teamwork
✅ Community service values
✅ Healthy friendships and mentorship

Most importantly, our program is completely FREE for youth and families, and we need the support of our community to keep it that way.

We are currently seeking:
💧 Cases of water and sports drinks
🍎 Snacks and food donations
🎁 Raffle prizes and gift cards
🤝 Business sponsors and community partners
🎪 Vendors willing to donate their time, services, or resources

Every donation, sponsorship, and act of support makes a direct impact on the youth we serve.

We have a ton of kiddos in our program attending and even though some of the kids don’t speak Spanish they enjoy the learning and fun even if it’s in Spanish.

Today we celebrate all the amazing fathers, father figures, coaches, and mentors who make a difference in the lives of our players every day. Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, cheering from the sidelines, helping with setup and heavy lifting at events, volunteering your time, and being some of our biggest supporters on and off the court.

Your dedication, encouragement, and love help our athletes grow into confident young leaders both in basketball and in life.
