It's official. No Tucson Triathlon in March, however, plan for the Firecracker Triathlon on July 5, 2015!
The bike course continues to be a challenge...with that being said, would you come out for an aquathlon on the UA course, Sunday, March 29th? We need feedback so share with friends.
It is with our deepest regret that the 2014 Tinfoilman Triathlon has been cancelled. As many of you know, the Modern Streetcar necessitated a new bike course if the Tucson Triathlon Series races were to continue. Working with the City of Tucson, a new bike course was recently approved but it has been determined that it is not feasible due to safety concerns, traffic issues, and insurmountable extra costs related to the course.
For those of you unfamiliar with TriTucson’s history, this is our 21st year producing multi-sport events and the 2014 Tinfoilman would have been the 60th Tucson Triathlon Series race. This was not an easy decision. We are unsure what the future holds for our series. Please visit www.tritucson.com early in 2015 for more information.
We are working with Active.com and USATriathlon to issue refunds to your credit card.
Registration for Tinfoilman Triathlon now open!
Save the date: Tinfoilman Triathlon, Sunday, October 19. Here's the good news: new bike course = no Euclid. Details to follow. Sign ups will open later this week!
Have you registered? June 22nd is right around the corner!!
