It is time to meet another member of the team, let’s get ready to say hello and meet Scott Eichling.

Why did you start buhurt-
I am a person who tries to stay very conscious of his physical health and takes pride in staying fit, but regular box gyms are just sooo not my thing. But swinging axes at my friends is.

What makes you keep coming back to Iron Thistle-
Iron Thistle is much more than a space for the Hellhounds to practice. The health coaches have really helped me in health goals while being aware of my individual needs.

What is your favorite weapon to take into the Lyst?
Small axe, small shield. I am more of a grappler, so I more or less need my hands free.

What kind of Kit do you wear/like-
Mongolian/ Rus style. It offers a little less protection, but allows the mobility I need to not get hit in the first place. Plus, it just looks cool.

Who on the team do you like fighting with?
This is a tough one, but I am going to have to go with James and Martti. The way they communicate tactics and strategy before a fight really resonates with me.

Thank you now let’s get to know a little more about who you are.

What is your go to after fight meal
Chicken fajitas from El Sur, right up the road from Iron Thistle.

What is a hidden talent you have
Considering how much I talk about it, it’s not very hidden. But chess. But also karaoke.

If your life was a movie what would the title be
Captain ADHD vs The Sinister Forces of Professor Social-Awareness

Whats your guilty pleasure show or movie
To be honest Peewee’s Big Adventure is a go to right now.

Tell us How buhurt has helped you
May confidence has been through the roof- I am just about in the best physical shape of my life. More importantly, it gives me an opportunity to brag to people.

Alright Scott you have to pick one let’s see what you pick:

Monster or Red Bull

Every year, more women put on armour for the first time. More stay. More compete. More become the people the next generation will look at and think:
