Women's Salon Series

Women's Salon Series A salon is a gathering by a host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine taste and increase participant knowledge through conversation.

Our Salons are designed to be an informative place for women to learn about career issues related to women, current events and family life. We understand that women have many of the same career goals as men but face unique challenges in working toward those goals. Each Salon features a dynamic speaker with an academic or professional background who presents a specific topic and leads an interactive dialogue among the Salon guests. The Salon Series is held at Skyline Country Club at 5200 St. Andrews Dr in Tucson, Arizona

What if meditation doesn’t have to mean sitting still? 🌿

Lisa Howells, M.Ed. reminds us that meditation can look different for everyone. For some, it’s quiet breathing. For others, it might be cycling, walking, creating, or simply moving through the world in a way that helps them come back to themselves.

The goal isn’t to meditate perfectly — it’s to find what brings you back to center.

What if joy is as simple as singing badly on purpose? 🎶

Your insurance plan can affect where you receive care.

If you need skilled nursing after a hospital stay, your Medicare Advantage plan may have a more limited network of facilities that accept your coverage.

That doesn’t mean you won’t receive care — but it could mean your first-choice facility isn’t available under your plan.

Anna Regina explains why understanding your Medicare options before you need care can make such a big difference.

We were so fortunate to have an expert in the industry like Anna join us and share her insight at the Women’s Salon Series.

Your health history can change what you pay.

Anna Regina shares a real example of how something as simple as a past ER visit for chest pain can show up during underwriting — and potentially make a Medicare Supplement policy much more expensive.

Her advice? If you’re considering your options at 65, understand the differences early and make an informed decision before your health history changes.

We were so fortunate to have an expert in the industry like Anna join us and share her knowledge at the Women’s Salon Series.
