This week, campers are visiting the Tulsa Zoo to explore exhibits and learn about animals. We’ve loved seeing their curiosity and excitement, and this is only the beginning of a fun summer ahead! ☀️

Tulsa County Parks partners with the Tulsa Croquet Club to bring the sport to the park. Croquet is a game of strategy and precision where players use mallets to move balls through a series of hoops, carefully planning each shot. The recent Indian Territory Open brought players from across the region to compete.

Memorial Day is a day to pause, remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
Their sacrifice is the reason we’re able to enjoy moments of peace, community and time together. From all of us at Tulsa County Parks, thank you to those who gave it all.

We’re ready for summer at SoCo - South County Recreation Center! Our lifeguards have completed training and summer readiness, and they’re geared up to keep guests safe while making this a fun!☀️

It has been 11 years since the grand opening of the south indoor building, and it is time for a Facelift!

This fundraiser concert will serve as the kickoff to our “$60K for Better Play” campaign, a community effort to refresh, renew, and improve the South Indoor Courts for the thousands of players who use them each year.

Please help us meet our fundraising goal to upgrade the indoor courts with new LED lights, resurfaced courts, and new curtains.
As Tulsa’s only indoor tennis facility open to the public, how much do we appreciate our indoor courts when the wind is howling, the rain is pouring, the sun is baking, and the snow is falling?

Show us your appreciation by joining us at the South Indoor Court Facelift fundraiser on Friday, June 5 from 6:30 – 10 at the Case Tennis Center. The evening includes live music by Zodiac, a cash bar, and food truck.

Zodiac is a pop/rock dance band with a multi-decade playlist of classic and contemporary pop hits that fill the dance floor. (Include a link when posted on social media to Zodiac’s page)
The cost is $10 per person, but if you donate $50, you receive one free entry. With a donation of $100, you will receive two free entries*. Any donation in $50 increments above $50 will receive one entry per $50. For example, a $250 donation receives 5 entries, and a $500 donation receives 10 entries. Giving this way makes it easy to bring your friends, teammates, and family!

On Monday, May 25, our centers at LaFortune Park, SoCo - South County Recreation Center, O'Brien Park, and Chandler Park will be closed for Memorial Day. The parks will remain open for you to enjoy throughout the holiday weekend! ☀️

Last weekend marked the start of summer staff training for our lifeguards, splash park monitors, and summer camp counselors! Our team sharpened their skills in communication, conflict resolution, and child safety as we gear up for a great summer. ☀
