Today, the Oklahoma Airmen Flying Club proudly honors and remembers the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation.

The Oklahoma Airmen Flying Club was proud to host our 2nd Annual 2026 Spring Fun Fly & Spot Landing Contest—and what an incredible day it turned out to be! ✈️

Pilots and aviation enthusiasts came together for a day full of great flying, friendly competition, and even better community. The spot landing contest brought out some impressive skills and made for an exciting highlight of the event!

The burgers and hotdogs sure hit the ”spot” this year! 🍔🌭

MYTH: Aircraft engine swaps always take months.
FACT: Sometimes, the right team and the right engine change everything!

This beautiful Cessna 180 Plains aircraft from Oklahoma Airmen’s Flying Club came into Red Man Aviation for an engine TBO. Our crew was ready to begin the teardown process when a Lycoming replacement engine was located. This was a huge game changer.

Instead of a possible 12 week downtime, this aircraft was:
Engine swapped, Installed to spec, Inspected, tested, and flown Back home within just 30 hours!

We love delivering quick turnarounds when possible — but we’ll never cut corners to save time. Precision, safety, and craftsmanship always come first.
