Lazy B Ranch

We said goodbye to Smokey in March, as we had to help him over the rainbow bridge after a violent fight with our young stud horse who broke into the pasture, which resulted in a broken stifle. Smokey was our 20+ year old grade gaited gelding that was the Alfa male of the herd. He was the last of the horses who had been purchased for the grandkids. He was the safest, hardest to catch, non people, go anywhere, horse in the herd. He tried his best to “protect” his mares, and will be missed greatly, especially by Miles.

We added a couple of buckling Nigerian Dwarfs to the ranch about a week ago. I guess I need to look for some a couple of doe-lings. Their mothers were twins, so they are cousins. Name suggestions?
