Good luck to Caeden Hill as he wrestles in Virginia Beach this week.

Tupelo Golden Wave Wrestling traveled to State and came home with hardware and a whole lot of pride. We finished 6th as a team and 2nd in the North. With a number of first year wrestlers & underclassmen, we are very excited for what the future holds.

This season has been absolutely unbelievable. These kids pushed through every challenge, showed incredible strength and sportsmanship, and represented our program the right way. There truly are no words to describe how proud we are of each and every one of them.

🚨 2026 North Half Results 🚨

Boys - 3rd Place overall

Our boys did an outstanding job, placing 3rd overall. The team continues to produce results amidst all the trials and tribulations they have faced this year. The young bucks continue to step up, with 4 of our top placers being in either 8th or 9th grade (3 of them first year wrestlers).

Girls - 6th Overall

With only 4 wrestlers, the girls did an outstanding job placing 6th overall. Promise Tucker, a junior and first year wrestler, coasted her way to the finals before placing 2nd. Aleika Hunt also came inches away from beating the top seed in her weight class. Lots to build on one week before the State Tournament!

We headed to State ranked #5 in MS and left it all on the mat. While we didn’t get the results we were hoping for, our guys competed hard and represented our program well. We’re incredibly proud of how far this team has come and what they accomplished this season. We’re excited to get back to work and keep getting better. Go Wave! 💙💛
