Black Bear or Grizzly Bear? Spotted this Sow and cub while driving between Big Sky and West Yellowstone in Montana earlier this week. In the moment, I thought they were Black Bears, but as I was reviewing this week’s photos I noticed what looks like a Grizzly hump on the photos of the sow.

If you’ve followed me long you know I’m a big fan of Rusty, Rusten and . I’m super pumped for the new merch they have dropping soon - had to bring it with me all the way to the Grand Tetons!

just sent me this screen grab he got from the footage of our hunt. This was right when he rounded the corner - just before I shot him. Weeks later I still can’t help but be in awe of how beautiful he is. ⁣

As someone who has never served our country in the armed forces I don’t even know how to reconcile the sacrifices made (by both the personnel and their families) that allow us the freedoms we enjoy in America today. All I know is that I’m beyond grateful. Happy Memorial Day; and to those who today who are mourning the losses of friends and family - my heart and prayers are with you today!
