I am sharing this to educate my pregnant ladies before making a difficult decision. It was American standard to formula feed babies for decades after a government push in the culture, but women are learning, long-term studies have developed & concerns are finally being addressed.

Some women cannot breastfeed due to unfortunate circumstances with premature delivery, social misinformation, inadequate milk production etc..and that is OK. But most formulas contain corn syrup solids, maltodextrin & carcinogens. A well fed baby is a healthy baby & that is the most important thing but there are brands that are doing a much better job at meeting holistic expectations with less risk from a better ingredient standard.

Let’s talk Fad Diets. Originally this diet is as used on epileptic patients and then targeted diabetic patients with some success. If you are trying to lose weight and fat this is NOT your best option. I always tell my clients I’m not a huge fan of limiting any macronutrients, but if they insist, do this in a cycle! Try it for no more than 21 days. If you have high blood pressure…this may not be the best idea to do at all.
