Storybook Half Marathon

I don’t pressure my kids to run. I ask from time to time if they want to join and that’s about it. TBH, my life has worn me thin this week and I really wanted to just let my registration fee for this charity 5K be a donation when I saw what the weather was going to be. Then I heard her talking with her bestie, picking out her clothes, setting out the race day glitter… fiinnneeee… I’ll rally!
I’m so glad I did, because seeing her tear up as she finished her miles and hearing her talking about how proud of herself she is, and how she even wants to do another one makes me so happy!!
She doesn’t know it, but she inspired ME today.
