My Swimply Experience: A Perfect Pool Day with My Yorkies

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share an incredible experience I had this past Saturday with my Yorkies using Swimply, a platform I’ve come to love. If you’re not familiar, Swimply lets you rent private backyard pools by the hour, and it’s been a game-changer for me—especially because I can bring my pups along for the fun!

Our Recent Pool Day in Plano

This past weekend, I rented a beautiful pool in Plano, and it was just what we needed to beat the heat. The pool had a shallow end, which was perfect for my dogs to sit and cool off in the water. They absolutely loved it! The yard was large, fully fenced, and grassy—ideal for them to run around and play between dips in the pool.

The best part? The host was incredibly thoughtful and provided everything we needed for a stress-free morning. There were towels laid out for us, doggie pick-up bags, toys, and even some floats. The app gave us all the instructions, including where to enter, and the host respected our privacy completely. We didn’t have any interruptions, which made it feel like our own little oasis.

Even with the super hot weather, the morning was so enjoyable, and it wore my dogs out completely. They had a blast, and I got to relax knowing they were safe and happy.

Hi Adventure Ladies! How are you enjoying our August book, Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert? 📖✨

I’ve been reflecting on our first discussion prompt, and it got me thinking about how fear—and in my case, lack of space—can hold us back from our creative pursuits.

I used to love spending my evenings and weekends crafting—painting, making jewelry, you name it. 🎨✨ But with limited space now, the fear of making a mess has kept me from diving back into my creative passions. I’ve got at least 4 big storage totes full of supplies, but the hassle of cleaning up has been a huge block for me. Eventually, I just stopped altogether. 😞

But no more! I’ve decided to bring out my supplies again, even if it’s just a few things at a time, and make creativity a priority. 🛠️

It’s time to trade in some of those mindless TV hours for something that truly makes me happy.

The crew cooked our meats while we floated and we all brought sides.
It was a super fun evening!!

The sea plane takes 45 minutes each way, the ferry takes 2 hours each way but is $200 less expensive 🤔
