What if you took the time every day to find one thing you loved when you looked in the mirror?
Social media is full of highlight reels, posing, great lighting, the list goes on, and we start to compare what we see in the mirror to what we see on Instagram.
Don’t let the mirror become your enemy. We have become so dependent on thinking of a mirror as a realistic reflection of ourselves, and I see so many women (and men for that fact) tear themselves down and pick apart every part of their bodies that they’re unhappy with.
Next time you look in a mirror, look at the things you love. Don’t think there is anything to love? It’s more than the bigger picture in the mirror. When you really look, there are so many little things about yourself that make you unique.
We don’t dislike their bodies because of how they look. We dislike their bodies because of how we think. Change the thinking to love, one thought at a time 🤎

Soulful Sunday’s 🌻
Sunday’s are my favourite day of the week. Laptop is off, a big sleep in, and a breakfast date with my love 🤍
We’ve dedicated every Sunday to a date day where we have breakfast together, trying out a new cafe each week, and heading out for a wholesome activity for the day.
Relationship and social health to me is so important, even more so during prep, so spending time together with my partner looks a bit different, but we make it worthwhile.
You don’t have to keep things boring. Although I love going out for burgers and eating my heart out, I much prefer going to an arcade or spending a day out in the sun instead of sitting across a table at dinner on our phones, and I’m sure that goes for a lot of us.
To all my homies in prep with partners, keep it fun and exciting. Explore new activities. Never stop dating your partner, and this applies to non-competitors too.
Bodybuilding can be a selfish sport, and it’s so important to preserve relationships and friendships. Those closest and most supportive of us need to be acknowledged, so take the effort to keep them a priority.
Food for thought people!
Happy Friday Instagram fam 😇
You know your body better than anyone.
Listen to it.
Three weeks ago, I was clinically diagnosed with a fibroadenoma; a breast tumour.
I found a lump on the side of my breast around the time of my period, a couple of weeks prior, so naturally I ignored it thinking it would go away.
Over time it got bigger and more painful, so I made the decision to go to speak to my doctor, and received a diagnosis.
Multiple appointments later and the lump has been confirmed to be dense breast tissue and benign, thankfully. Naturally stress induced and can fluctuate in size around my cycle, so it’s something to be mindful of now.
I was prescribed to take a step away from training for a week as recovery, and I also made the decision to take a bit of time off work to allow my body to properly rest. A scary and overwhelming couple of weeks, leaving me mentally exhausted, hence why I went quiet on here a few weeks ago.
Talking about health can always be a tricky subject, because everyone has their opinions about what you should and shouldn’t do.
The rest did my body wonders. A reduction in cumulative stress meant that I was able to recover properly. I had a reduction of inflammation, my scale weight dropped exponentially, I was sleeping better, hitting more PB’s in the gym, digestion of food was better, and my body wasn’t as sore so my posing felt more fluid. All because I took the time to let my body rest when it needed it. The rest did my body & this prep a world of good.
This experience has taught me to take a different approach to life. To slow down and not worry so much. To rest when I need it instead of prolonging and delaying time to relax. And we’re back feeling better than ever.
We glorify being busy and being on the go 24/7, but our bodies don’t work optimally in this way. To have all this physiological and psychological stress with diminishing returns, is it really worth pushing past the point where your body needs the rest? I hope this sheds some awareness and light for all the ladies (and gents of course) to listen to what your body is telling you to do. Learning the lesson of taking a slight step back to take an even bigger step forward 🤍
Two years of ❤️
In the blink of an eye, I’ve been working for Revo for two years today 🤯 so let’s take a trip back down memory lane shall we…
June 29th 2020, my first day at Revo Kelmscott. I had officially launched my personal training business with a handful of clients, with the hopes of dropping down to a casual position in my full time hospitality job in six months time...
I QUIT my full time hospitality job in just over two months 🥳
After a couple of years of study, it was such a surreal moment to get to a point where I could comfortably step away from a full time job in another industry to put 100% of my energy into personal training, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
I had a club change to Belmont at the end of last year, and there were MANY emotions leaving my OG club Kelmy (so many damn tears 🥺) but I wanted to explore new opportunities for my business.
Was I nervous about the move? F**k yes I was. But sometimes we just have to do those uncomfortable things to make it happen and to grow, and that’s what I decided to do. Of course I have no regrets; fresh new gym, new clients, and a whole new team to work with 🤩😇
Yes there have been challenges, tears, stresses and frustrations along the way, don’t get me wrong. It’s all part of it 🤍 I’ve learnt so much not only about how to run my business in the last two years, but more so about myself and the amount of growth I’ve had as an individual since starting PT. Looking back at that tiny, introverted and naive version of myself really puts things into perspective of how much a certain environment can change who you are, and I’ve grown and changed for the better.
I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone time and time again, and I’m now reaping the rewards. I’ve built an amazing community, and I’ve met so many incredible individuals along the way, whether it may be clients, past and present, the regular members at Revo, the trainers and staff who work alongside me. I’ve created friendships for life, all thanks to me believing in myself saying that “I can do this.”
I want to say thankyou to every person who has helped me in this journey ❤️ this is only the beginning!
14 down, 14 to go 🐺🚀
Cheesin’ because I love my job 🏋🏼♀️
First of many trips down south with my love ❤️
This kini from is EVERYTHING 🍔
16 weeks to send it
Taking some well needed time away this weekend with my love as a mid prep celebration/cute getaway and spend some time relaxing and resetting for the new week ahead 🥳🥰
It’ll also be the first holiday in a while that I’ll be taking a step away from any kind of work, which is huge for me (for those who know me, I’m a damn workaholic and never give myself a break 😂💀) so this weekend is going to be groovy!
Life with you ❤️
Emory gym + juicy back and shoulders sesh + screamy music = vibes
Season B here we come 🚀 so excited to share this prep wichuuuuu 🤍
Will I ever walk past a mirror and not take a selfie? Probs not 📸🙆♀️😂
Good morning and happy Monday! ✌🏼
Sometimes when you least expect it, great things happen ❤️
Happy one year coachiversary
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t shed a few tears looking at these photos and seeing how far I’ve come in the last year, and how proud I am of myself 🥲
The past 12 months have taught me:
1) Don’t give up. Life will try to throw everything at you, and s**t will get hard. But keep going.
2) The only person who is stopping you from reaching your full potential is you.
3) Surrounding yourself with like-minded people and a supportive circle. This will be your make or break.
Hours of work and commitment to the cause, and we haven’t even touched the surface of what this little gal is capable of.
Version 2.0 loading… 😈
Another check-in done and safe to say we’re ahead of schedule 🎯
Happy Friday Instagram fam! 🥳
Countdown has begun ⏰

Happy Friday Instagram fam 😇
Dynamic duo Steff & Steph and the lady behind the magic 🪄💃🕺
Wholesome weekend for the soul with .strelein 🤍
I never realized how much I took this gal’s presence for granted until she moved away. From seeing her every week to not at all was a bit of a shock.
She brings so much light into my life and I had the best time in the last couple of days with her.
This is your reminder to always be present in every moment with your friends, family and loved ones.
Because you never know when that time will be cut short, or if life has alternative plans.
Be excited with your hello’s, be invested with your time together, and be sincere with your goodbyes, always.
Lil update for you all ⬇️
Countdown is on for Season B 🤙🏼
First dieting phase underway this week. Nice comfortable drop in the past two days, which was expected. Cals are sitting just shy of 3k (for now 😌)
Training x4 days a week (and this has helped a butt tonne with my recovery may I add)
Still smashing glutes and delts like there’s no tomorrow.
No cardio, but keeping steps around 10-12.5k mark daily.
Let’s have some fun
Head down & get to it.
The fun begins next week.
The fitness industry and community really do be something special 💙
Go out there and find your people.
Find those who push you to become better.
Find those who add value to your life rather than subtracting worth.
Find those who make you smile and feel comfortable to be yourself around.
Once you find them, keep them close.
Today was the second time I’ve ever met this girl and safe to say she’s stuck with me 🤪💗
Another week of doing the thing I love most ❤️🔥
📸
If you didn’t take a mirror selfie did you even train there? 🤨🏋🏼♀️❤️
Walking into a new week tomorrow like 💁🏼♀️
