PKSA Central NC Tang Soo Do is a method of empty hand and foot fighting based on the scientific use of the body in self defense. You get all of that at PKSA Karate.

Training in Tang Soo Do stresses the development of individual character, integrity, and respect for others. PKSA Karate is one of the largest martial arts organizations in the country. We are professionals at changing people’s lives through our martial arts schools. You see, for us, it’s not just about kicking and punching, but actually changing and improving our students’ lives. Where else or what other type of activity can you be involved in that will give you and/or your child more confidence, discipline, self-esteem, leadership skills, teamwork, and an improved fitness level while having fun and learning to defend yourself in this violent society that we live in today? IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Our belts for promotion have not arrived, most likely due to mail delays with Labor Day. We are going to move Promotion Night to Thursday in hopes they will arrive by then. Same times. Regular Tuesday class schedule, and come to the class you are moving up to! Please help us spread the word to those you know who don’t use Facebook much. We’ll be sending out an email as well!

We’re kicking off our Fall cycle next week! 🍂🪾🍁

Wednesday, Sept. 16, 4pm is a special 45 min intro class for all interested beginners. Invite your friends to try out karate!

The class is $5 and designed to show off the exciting world of martial arts and what you will experience at PKSA Karate!

Ages 4- Adult are welcome for this intro class. We currently have adults all the way to age 79!

Martial arts build your physical strength and stamina but we also teach confidence, discipline and real world self defense skills. Sign up for the intro class today- It might just change your life!

Lots of our students go back to school 🚌 next week (woo hoo!) but in order not to be testing over Labor Day weekend, testing has been scheduled in Rockingham for Saturday the 29th.

Some great moments on the mat today in Novi, Michigan. 10 of our students brought their A-game
to test for either Cho Dan, Sam Dan or recertification. We are incredibly proud of what these students displayed during testing. They endured 6 hours of unrelenting physical activity that took every ounce of focus, training and determination they had within. This is a test that demands it all and these 10 athletes gave it 110%! Tang Soo!
