Wow we have had a fun last week of camp!! Washington Monument Park, Fort Frederick, Antietam Battefield (it was History week!), of course lots of Tae Kwon Do, parks galore, swimming…Fun Fun Fun! We can’t believe the summer is almost over! If you need a fantastic AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM give us a call…we are filling up fast!

Wow today was remarkable for White Tiger and Mr. Jimmy. He doesn’t get to promote students very often past 1st Dan…but to promote a student to 4th Dan and bestow the title of Master to a student really touches his heart. Today Johnny Odom Jr. promoted to Master Johnny Odom Jr. This young man has trained for nearly a decade, he knows over 20 kadas…dozens and dozens of self defense techniques, gun and knife defenses, his defense skills in sparring are magnificent…but more than that he has spent years putting in 10-15 hours a week training and teaching. He can take over anytime for Master Jimmy and run classes if need be…he is such a good hearted, respectful, strong, caring and wonderful young man. Congratulations Master Johnny! So well deserved and EARNED.

There are only 2 weeks of summer camp left!!! Where has the summer gone? Time flies when you have fun! At Mr Jimmy’s White Tiger Martial Arts kids spend their summer getting dirty and having fun doing Tae Kwon Do and going to parks, movies, field trips swimming and more! Congratulations to the students who tested for their 1st Dan Black Belts yesterday! Years and years of hard tough training went into their achievement. Yesterday they tested for 3+ hours presenting all their forms, kicks, weapons, self defense drills, sparring techniques/combinations, rough tough sparring and then board breaking and even Miss Megan broke her concrete block!! A great test and day for our White Tiger family!
