2024 SD Fall Nationals at Interstate Speedway -SD is in the books! Beautiful slick, wide and smooth track all weekend!! Hats off to all the people that put this show on!! Came across the line 8th in the feature! Only car without a spoiler in the top 15 or more. 2nd was given 1st and 3rd 2nd but the winner still was given 3rd. 🤔 Confusing but nothing we can do about it. Congrats to the winners in all the classes and huge thanks to Chase and Shelby for all their efforts towards local racing!!
Probably the final race in 2024 for Diggity. Thank you all for your support and love.

45 B/Sport/Midwest Mods raced tonight and after the 2 qualifying heats Diggity sits 10th in points. Which locked him into the main for the South Dakota Fall Nationals!!Not a bad qualifying night at all. Had a great car in the first qualifier and came home with the W! Second qualifier got caught up behind and then with a squirrel but still managed to come home 7th from 10th with a little damage. Needed a yellow once he was able to get around the squirrel. A lot of good cars and just fun to be back at the bullring Diggity used to race weekly. Thanks to everyone at Interstate Speedway -SD for putting on this show! Hoping for a good night on night 2 as well!!

That’s a wrap on another fun USRA Nationals. Struggled with set up the last 2 nights trying to find more long run speed. Missed the big show. Had a great time. Won a motor from Chevrolet Performance and USRA - United States Racing Association!! Congrats to all the winners!! Thanks to everyone that was a part of the week!!

First night of USRA Nationals in the book.
Heat 1st to 3rd. Lead the first half and caught a slightly dirty slider and fell back to 3rd. It’s racing.
Feature 5th to 12th. Just too free thinking the track would be prepped and wasn’t. Still a fun night and nothing to hang your head over at all!!

The will be representing the GoSunoco USRA B-Mod Division.

Lucas Oil Speedway

I 90 Speedway. Started outside front row of the heat race. Unfortunately should’ve just let the pole sitter have the whole front row to himself. Track was total mud and slime and got drove off the first turn. Couldn’t ever recover on the not even one lane track. Came home 5th in the mud.
Feature rolled off 13th. Avoided the chaos the first 2 starts but not so lucky the 3rd time. No where to go and clobbered the RF into one of the spun cars. Bent upper control arm, RF shock and the steering wheel. Wasn’t fun to drive after that with the RF shock and steering catching then free, then binding up, then free it was a handful. Finished 7th. Kicking ourselves for not hauling ass to MTS.
Congrats to Duke on the championship! Congrats to all the winners tonight!!

The motor is back together and sounds good. 🏁 Only one way to see if she’s ready for the long haul to Lucas Oil Speedway, race it! Diggity will be at I-90 Speedway tonight! Races start at 7pm! See you there! 🇺🇸

Unfortunately suffered motor issues at the Jamboree last weekend. Always a fun time at Deer Creek Speedway and especially the Jamboree. Not nearly as fun racing on 7 cylinders. 😆
The plan was to head to Mississippi Thunder Speedway this weekend for 3 nights of fun but don’t think we will have the motor back together in time. We will see if we can have the 21k up and running again in time to race somewhere this weekend before traveling south to end the year. Thank you all again for your support!!

We know you have all been anxiously awaiting updates. We apologize for keeping you all in suspense. Rapid Speedway is a part of the Lyon County Fairgrounds. There was extensive damage to the entire fairgrounds with added to the complexity of our situation. We have officially been given the go ahead from the Lyon County Fair Board to move forward and get the track and facilities into shape to bring racing back to Rock Rapids. We are happy to announce that we WILL be racing a compete schedule in 2025!!! Thank you so much to all of you for your support this summer. Whether it was thoughts, prayers, words or encouragement, volunteering for cleanup, or monetary donations; you all are appreciated. We will have updates soon of more volunteer opportunities as we start the rebuilding process.

Made the decision to not race I-90 Speedway tonight. Have a lot to get ready for the Jamboree next weekend. Moved Hailey off to college today. Just too much going on. Good luck to everyone racing tonight. Thanks to all the staff for efforts at the track this year. Thank you to all the fans and competitors as well. Off to do some traveling to finish up the year.

Need to thank everyone at Murray County Speedway for giving us place to race on Friday nights this summer.
Made the trip over last night started last in the heat and finished 3rd and then rolled off 5th in the feature and fell back before finding the top late in the race and driving back to finish 4th.

Felt like we were on our way to a W tonight.
Went to Murray County Speedway tonight led the first half of the feature and hit a hole and the belts came off the motor. DNF. Try again tomorrow night at I90s pit stop challenge. Congrats to all tonight’s winners!

Went to Murray County Speedway in Slayton, MN again tonight.
Heat came home 2nd and feature came home 5th. Nice to be racing Fridays again but sure miss Rapid Speedway.

Came to I90 tonight. Back to making the Sprint Car guys happy with track conditions I guess.

Heat Started 3rd and took the win.
Redrew 10🤪
Blew the rear seal out of the trans during the heat race. It was an adventure changing it out before the feature. Thank you to Duke Erickson for use of your tools to help the process. Started 10th in the feature and came home 6th. Could have been worse just needed to draw better for the track.
