Here is the truth about one handed passes.. every player should be working on them. Yes you should be able to and prioritize two handed passes. But one handed passes should not be looked at as “flashy” or lazy. They are extremely effective and sometimes necessary to throw good on time/on target passes.
One handed passes can be quicker from the point of gather to the pass.
One handed passes can save you from turnovers by not “committing” to passes if teammates aren’t open.
You can protect the ball with your off hand while throwing one handed passes.
I’m not saying don’t throw 2 handed passes. I’m saying start working on 1 handed passes as well.
