I tell my clients daily that they are in charge of their happiness. You can make a change whenever you are ready. This scares a lot of Women at first because we are not encouraged sometimes as Mother's, Spouses and Daughters that we are allowed to change our direction in life. Not that we need the permission, but we crave the support in those decisions.

I am sharing this activity I did with one of my 8 year old clients about her “safe spaces” with people, places and activities. I feel so honored to have made her list in all of the categories! 💗After we did the activity and discussed each one, I asked her to draw one of her safe people, places, or activities on the back of the worksheet. She drew a self-portrait of ME!! 😭😮 She said because you are my safe person! It was the cutest thing as she told me to ‘hold still’ and ‘pose’! 😂 I just HAD to take a pic of the finished drawing ✍️ (done with the only crayon colors we had that day!)😂🫠 💗The 3 ring binder is where she keeps all of our activities we do together. She enjoys punching the holes and adding to her notebook each visit with the tools she is learning.💗 {see comments for the drawing.}
