this quote hit home for me. sometimes, when I think about the big picture of I want to accomplish I become overwhelmed. this relates to fitness, professional and personal goals. learning to take it day by day and show up for myself in those 24 hours really allows me to see how the small steps add up.
doing that one workout. checking that one thing off the list that helps everything else flow easier. then I move on to the next. never underestimate the power of showing up for yourself daily. little things lead to big things ๐ฑ

It can be easy to attach yourself to your past physical limitations.
A prior injury, previous failures, or just never having done it before can all be excuses why we donโt push ourselves
Detach yourself from those limitations. Convince your mind that you CAN and will do it. Then take the first step to make it happen

Having an accountability partner is a great way to keep your plans to workout. You are more likely to go if you know someone else is counting on you to show up!
Meet up at the gym or FaceTime from the comfort of your home. Either way, your energy will feed off each other and make it easier to find motivation
๐กDiscuss a goal for the number of exercises you will complete each month. Once you reach that goal, reward yourselves with something you love, ex. dinner & drinks, a movie night with your fav snacks, etc. Do this each month!

Motivation will get you started.
Itโs great to use as momentum to create good habits, but if you plan on reaching your goals โ having the discipline to do it, even on the days you arenโt feeling motivated is the only way through
Keep going. Remember why you were motivated in the first place. Then let discipline take over and do what you said you were going to!

Do you notice that certain foods and drinks cause you to feel bloated and tired after eating them?
Thatโs because they are causing inflammation in your digestive system which could lead to long term illnesses.
If you struggle with determining which foods to moderate/eliminate from your diet, these groups are a great start!
Remember, anything in moderation is okay. But if you are getting majority of your meals from these groups, this is your sign to cut back
