Was knocked down for a bit... but back up and going. Fortunate enough to find stuff for the home gym. Don’t have to have any fancy brand name stuff. It’d be nice, but let’s face it... it all lifts the same as long as it’s safe. So as long as the storms going on that’s what’s getting used and honestly it might be for awhile, but that’s ok. I miss more than you’ll ever know. For now I’ll be doing what I can and pushing all the people in work with to keep going. Working out does way more than just for your physical well-being. It’s just as much a benefit for your mental health too especially these days. If you need some help or have questions I’m always here for anyone!! Let’s go!!!

Brandon is blowing up the numbers!!! So proud of him and all the work he puts in!!! The only workout where everything felt great. Videos are in reverse order, deads moved the way I wanted them too, and I sent it on the SSB 315x8. I wanted to play that mental game of not giving up and it felt great.

Met up with and for lunch today. Took the boys with too. They are always down for pizza/pasta. Always good to get to hang out even if not lifting..... somedays it’s just time to step of the gas pedal and coast. There were no leftovers left behind from my pizza..... Hope everyone has a great weekend and I know I’m ready to watch the Chiefs tomorrow night!!!

So to most people this seems very minuscule. To me this is amazing. Here’s why.... so this person started training with me about a month ago. Used to workout before kids...then became a mom.... injured her self and became a lot more sedentary. She made the decision to come start working out at Lenexa Rec Center, then decided to have a wellness assessment with me. We looked over everything and came up with a baseline to start with. Fast forward to now. Over the holidays she lost a few pounds of body fat and gained a pound of muscle. So now she does 1 day a week one on one sessions with me, 2-3 days a week weights and cardio on her own (she always tells me how she can’t feel her arms/legs after 💪🏼), and spends rest days being more active than before. Super proud of her and can’t wait to continue to get more texts like this. #
