One Small Detail Can Make Your Catch Count 🎣📸

Heading out to fish Florida's saltwater for the 2026 CCA Florida STAR Youth Competition presented by Yamaha Outboards? Before you make that first cast, make sure your official 2026 STAR identifier is ready to go.

Your identifier needs to be clearly visible in your catch photo when you submit through the iAngler Tournament System App. You can pick one up at your local West Marine or at one of the other official identifier pickup locations listed on the STAR website.

Once you're set, it's simple: get outside, catch an eligible saltwater species, take your photo with the identifier visible, and submit your entry.

Every catch is an opportunity to compete for scholarships, boat packages, fishing gear, and other incredible prizes while spending the summer enjoying Florida's fisheries.

If you're between the ages of 13 and 17, now is the perfect time to get registered for the 2026 CCA Florida STAR Youth Competition presented by Yamaha Outboards.

One lucky teen angler will be selected in the Teen Challenge 1st Place random drawing to win an incredible prize package featuring a Carolina Skiff E16JVX powered by a 75HP Yamaha, trailer, Minn Kota trolling motor, Power-Pole Sportsman 8ft shallow water anchor, and a $250 T-H Marine gift card.

The Guy Harvey Foundation Youth Scholarship Division presented by Realtree Fishing gives eligible anglers ages 6–17 the opportunity to compete for valuable college scholarships while enjoying Florida's incredible saltwater fisheries.

Participants must be current CCA New Tide members in good standing, meet the age requirements, and use a rod, reel, hook, and line to catch their competition entry.
