Indiana Gators 2010 Kent

Some changes are coming for next season!! We are excited to announce that we have found our home with the Indiana OutKast Organization!

This will be a very strong 2010 B team, with plans to move to A! We will play some showcase and PGF events! We have a very strong core group of girls and are excited to add a few more pieces to our puzzle!

All positions are considered! Come see what makes us a family!

Based out of MSA softball fields in Terre Haute, Indiana!

The glue, the helpers, the organizers, the ones we can always count on… the MOMS!!! This season we were absolutely blessed with some amazing moms! I have grown to love and cherish each and every one of them, and most definitely could not have had a successful season without all their help!

Don’t get me wrong, the dads of the team are pretty freaking amazing too, but we didn’t get a pic of them 😜

These girls gave it their all this week. I could not be any more proud of them. We had a lot of amazing things happening: great pitching, great catching, double plays, amazing stops, diving catches, over the shoulder catches, great teamwork, never hung our heads, never gave up. Top 8 in the USSSA Space Coast World Series Silver bracket. When I say there’s something special about these girls I 100% mean it. They battled through the heat and battled out of holes no one thought they would. They ended 2 games in a run rule. They have heart and grit like I’ve never seen.

Beyond proud of this group of 10 girls who give their all and then some!

When these girls show up, they show out! Pool play wasn’t good to us, we went 1-2, we lost our first bracket game in terrible fashion. So now we battle our way through the losers bracket in back to back games tomorrow until we lose.

They showed up to play in our first loser bracket game, ending the game in the 5th inning on run rule 10-2.

Even on our off days, there is just something special about this group of girls!

The girls went 1-2 in pool play, and will start bracket as the number 3 seed.

Overall we’ve had a rough start, and just have not gotten our bats going!

Here’s to hoping these girls show up and play like we all know they can!

We did get to see the rocket launch today, which was pretty cool!

Game 1 was a bust for the day! Bats were not hot, and had trouble making plays! Here’s to hoping tomorrow we start off better!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there who drive them to games, buy them the new equipment, sit on the buckets, hit the balls, listen to them complain, and spend every open weekend at the ball field! We couldn’t do this without you! Enjoy your day off!
