GALOWCH FAMILY YMCA LOCKER CLEAN OUT UPDATE
We ask that all members please remove their personal belongings from Galowich Family YMCA lockers by 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22. Beginning Thursday, April 23, lockers will be cleaned out, and any unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.

Weekly Wellness Tip #14- Make exercise a habit!
Struggling to stay on track? You’re not alone! Here are a few tips provided by the American Heart Association to help make exercise part of your daily routine:
1: Make time
Exercise around the same time each day so it becomes part of your daily routine.
2: Have reasonable expectations.
Do what you can, when you can. Remember that any movement is good movement.
3: Make it fun!
Bring a friend. Find the right playlist. Choose a movement you enjoy.
4: Track your success.
Your success will motivate you! Log your activities and milestones on a calendar, phone, watch, etc. Whatever keeps you moving!

Having a Cyber P.L.A.N., monitoring device use, and teaching online safety rules can help keep your child safe. From apps to gaming, staying on top of digital trends can be overwhelming. NCMEC offers free resources to help trusted adults understand online risks, and talk with kids about staying safe.

Due to continued intermittent power outages, the Galowich Family YMCA will remain closed through Sunday, April 19, while repairs are completed. All programming scheduled at the Galowich Family YMCA through April 19 has been canceled. The facility will reopen for its final week of operations at 5 a.m. on Monday, April 20. We apologize for the inconvenience and very much appreciate your continued patience.
As a reminder, while the facility is closed, Galowich Family YMCA members are invited to visit the C.W. Avery Family YMCA and the Morris Hospital YMCA. Please be sure to check facility and amenity schedules before visiting.

Today’s Five Days of Action focus is on recognizing red flags online and in-person. Certain behaviors can signal risk for child abuse and understanding them helps you act early to keep kids safe. We’re sharing an infographic that shows what to watch for—whether the behavior may be low, moderate, or high risk—and these behaviors, or grooming, can show up both in person and online situations.
